About Us

Studio Parisotto + Samad is led by Sara Parisotto and Hamid Samad, building on a long-standing practice in interior architecture through the founding of Commute Design Studio. Their work has shaped spaces across Canada, particularly within hospitality, with a focus on atmosphere, material detail, and composition.

The studio works across lighting, furniture, and spatial installations for art-led interiors. Projects range from editioned pieces to site-specific installations, developed locally in collaboration with fabricators.

Across all scales, the work is driven by proportion, material behaviour, and how objects and installations are experienced over time. The aim is to make work that feels grounded, deliberate, and closely tied to its setting.
