CT-03 River Mapping Installation

A site-specific installation commissioned for a boutique hotel, CT-03 traces the branching forms of the region’s rivers through a suspended composition of hand-forged steel discs. Anchored into a sculpted plaster-cloth wall, each disc is connected with near-invisible pins—creating the effect of a topographic map in midair. As light moves across the surface, the piece shifts from solid to spectral, echoing the ever-changing geography that inspired it.

The final work blends cartography, sculpture, and architectural ornament, and can be adapted for site-responsive installations.
