Practice
Studio Parisotto + Samad is led by Sara Parisotto and Hamid Samad, building on a deep history in interior architecture through their founding practice, Commute Design Studio. Over decades, their work has shaped spaces across Canada—particularly in hospitality—recognized for atmosphere, detail, and a distinct sense of composition.
This studio extends that foundation into a more focused territory: editioned objects, sculptural furniture, and site-responsive installations created for art-led interiors and for clients who value depth, clarity, and materiality.
Every work is conceived and developed locally, in close collaboration—whether as a singular commission or within an ongoing collection. The intention is always the same: to create work that feels deliberate, connected, and enduring.
In all its forms, the practice is guided by a belief in work that holds presence, invites engagement, and carries a lasting sense of place.
